Well we all know how long this will last.  Anyway the news for today is HEATHER IS HAVING A BABY.  I am really excited cause the baby in our family is 9 years old and a new little one will be so much fun to spoil.  And I am going to be the designated babysitter while Mommy works.  The bad news is boyfriend Brett has not handled this news well.  He wanted to marry Heather until this and now he has turned hinkey so she gave him the boot.  Hopefully he will come around and realize it’s time to grow up.  But we are here as a family for her and will take care of her and Harley and the new baby as needed!

It’s been one week since Kelli, Bobby and Kiki moved out. For the first time since 1985 Brent and I are childless here at home. It is really quiet!! But hey I’msure it won’t last for long.

I am really missing my Kiki. She is my bud and it’s been hard not having her here.

Any hoo – Happy Birthday to me, and yes I am 53 today.  Yikes!!!

Boy life can really smack you down some times! Dear Hubby’s big brother Steve has struggled with addiction for over thirty years and last week he hit rock bottom, just decided he was done and out of here. Thankfully a sheriff was in the parking lot up the canyon and got him to the hospital, unfortunately next day he goes back and tries it again. Wow to nurses on vacation who notice something is not right! She performed CPR until life flight arrived. Steve has been at U of U Med Center since last Wednesday. Lots of ups and downs for his kids, who are amazing!!! Love them all so much and worry about them! I need to quit letting myself be assigned as dog sitter here at home and get up there to give them some support, but it is hard for me cause I just really want to smack Steve and ask him how the hell he could do this to his kids!!

Saturday was a fun day here starting at just after midnight run to the ER with Alan and Lili. The poor girl was doubled over in pain – diagnosis is acute gastritis and very restricted diet. This after five hours, the economy cut backs have hit nursing in the ER – ain’t that great!

Mom and Dad will be in Park City next week so I am going to head up there for a day with them, need some of that parental unconditional love.

KELLI AND BOBBY RENTED AN APARTMENT!!! Woohoo!!! Moving on Aug 7th. I love them dearly but will be so glad to get my house back to normal.

Ok back to work for me!

Been having some problems with my depression, not really wanting to leave my bedroom, let alone the house. Finally went to the doc on Friday and we are going to try a different type of med. Did get myself over to Patty’s house on Friday night for scrapping and had a blast!! Natalie made me laugh so hard i thought I would pee my pants – that girl is a hoot!! We have a new member in our household, her name is Jelly and she is just a beauty. So far the dogs have not discovered that she is here with Alan and Lili. Jelly is a year old and very well behaved! As soon as i read the photo upload instructions again I will post some pics.

when you wonder what the heck you are doing?  I keep thinking I need to get on a regular schedule, by that I mean up during the day and sleep at night.  But I just like the quiet in the night time so much!  Especially in the insanity that is my household!  On Tuesday I got up at noon so I would sleep that night, but no – the night just calls to me.  I stayed up til 7am on Wednesday working.  It is just so much easier for me to get work done in the wee small hours of the morning.

Ok so now some good news.  Alan got a job!!!  Woohoo!!  He is going to work for the auditing company that I work for.  He will be in the office uploading files and ordering credit reports to start with.  I am really excited for him.  This could be a good opportunity because these guys are expanding like crazy.  So now he might be getting settled!

Another fun night with the nieces last night.  Shannon dropped by for a bit and Heather was here.  Kelli was kind of in a comma, but we had fun.  Going to do it here at my house cause the girls don’t want to spend $$ right now going to Heartfelt.  I didn’t actually do any scrapping – I printed pics and helped Jen and Kristy with some cards.  Mostly we just laugh 🙂

Today was so nice outside!  Maybe we really are having spring.  I managed to get quite a bit of work done today, maybe tomorrow I’ll reward myself and work on the scrap crap organization for a bit.  If I could just get my teeth to stop hurting it would be great, of course that will require a trip to the dreaded dentist.  What is it with me and dentists??

So who is on Facebook?  I am and kind of like it, helps me keep up with a few friends.  Of course if I really want to admit it, my real passion is Farm Town!  If you haven’t got your farm yet you should check it out.  A great way to “shop” without spending money 🙂

Inventories four days this past week – cripes I am tired.  But the good news is today was the last one for the RB’s chain in Davis County.  Alan is getting a job at MCA where I work so we don’t have to do the RB’s stores anymore.  Inventory is down to one store a month – Cruel Jacks in Rock Springs.  The pay for that one store covers my part of the house payment and it is Alan’s “rent”, plus we like going there to eat.  My audit work is going really well, MCA is so busy they have as much work for me as I want.  It is nice to not stres over money so much.  Shannon and Heather, et al moved out two weeks ago and Kelli will be gone in another week or so – back to a peaceful house!  I love my grandkids but I want to be the fun Grandma, not the daily disciplinarian.

Today is National Scrapbook Day, yipee!  Me and my buds are going to crop at Pebbles in My Pocket down in Orem.  Really excited cause after the week I had I need some fun.  Monday we go to Rock Springs so Sunday will be my “rest” day.
